Nico Carpentier to give keynote at the Journalism, Society and Politics in the Digital Media Era conference
Professor Nico Carpentier will give a keynote lecture on "What has journalism to learn from community media? About participatory assemblages, institutional embeddedness and production ethics" at the Journalism, Society and Politics in the Digital Media Era conference, which will take place in Limassol, Cyprus from 1 to 3 September 2017.
The conference is organised jointly by the Advanced Media Institute, the Open University (Cyprus), the Centre for the Study of Journalism, Culture and Community at Bournemouth University (UK), and the Laboratory of Research in New Economy and Development at University Hassan II Casablanca (Morocco), with the support of the Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol, Cyprus, at the premises of which the conference will be hosted.
The deadline for abstracts is Monday 27 February 2017.
